Our Aim
We aim to promote and protect the interests of occupational social workers and their clients.
- To coordinate the activities of occupational social workers at branches and facilitate development of existing and new branches within Southern Africa.
- To encourage ongoing acquisition of professional knowledge and skills, and understanding of the role and functions of occupational social work within public and private organisations.
- To formulate a national policy for SAOSWA and its members and relate this to other policies which may affect the interests and functioning of occupational social workers and their client systems.
